Ive been developing an app for iOS and Android and I must say that Nexus 7, Galaxy whatever runs like garbage when compared to iOS. I tested an array of devices with Jellybean and Ice Cream Sandwich and even the iPad 1 runs better than the Nexus 7. That really is a hot mess.

And so let me know: where the mini is "slow" ???

I'm not exactly an iPad mini lover (i own an ipad 4), but all the whining around here are starting to annoy me.
I can't see anything slow in using an iPad mini.

Apple can do whatever they want. Nobody is putting a gun to your head forcing you to purchase their products. They charge a premium on their products because they are the best on the market and people will pay that price.

I can't see anything slow in using an iPad mini.

You will notice it being slower than the ipad 4 when processing audio and video in garageband or imovie. It is slower when doing a lot of work in Photoshop Touch. It is slow when loading and playing large games which have to load a lot of level data.

It's not slow, in the same way that an i3 MacBook Pro is not slow in and of itself, but it is slow when compared to an i7 MacBook Pro.

Or to put it another way, my C2D MacBook Pro is not slow when checking email or watching videos.
