Hands free kit with your own headphones?

Hi Guys,
I remember in the days of the nokia hayday one used to get headphones with their better phones which had a mike/remote clip with an attachment for your own headphones. Can one still get these for iphone/android these days? I've had a look around and I can't seem to find something similar anywhere...

Cheers all

I remember the clip thing. You realise the iPhone headphones come with a Mic though? Small silver dot in the picture.

I do remember but what I want is a mic which I can plug in my own head phones into. I like my own headphones but want to make calls through them. That was the beauty of the clip thingy...
