Hidden photo and video files

I recently downloaded an app QuikIO that gives you access to your Mac files remotely from your iphone. When searching the video files I came across video files that I took from my iphone previously and had deleted. If I search the harddrive for those files I get no results. Is there a way to find and delete these files? I have already emptied the trash in Iphoto to no avail. Thanks

You could try these search methods:

To find system files via Finder, that can't be found via Spotlight:

To find invisible files via Finder:
