I'm looking to upgrade to a 32GB iPhone and am wondering who has the best plan for repair/ replacement? Additionally, does anyone have a reasonable loss replacement plan? Thank you

If you have household or renter's insurance, the company MAY offer a rider that would cover loss/theft/damage/device failure for an iphone. State Farm does NOT cover cell phones but others do.

Otherwise, AC+ or Squaretrade for damage or device failure - no loss or theft coverage. If you use a standard credit card to purchase the phone (e.g., AMEX, Discover, Visa, MC), check to see what their coverage is as well for purchases made since they may cover loss or theft, at least within the first few months of purchase.

Stay far, far away from the cell carriers' TEC/Asurion. They are an unmitigated scam.

Put $100 in an online savings account and add $10 every paycheck to it.

After a short amount of time you would have enough to cover a replacement if needed. And if you don't use it, you have more then enough to buy a new phone when your contract it up and usually money left to start over

USAA insurance carrier doesn't offer theft/damage/spills/ coverage either. Asked the rep, and she said too many would abuse the insurance, so they do not offer it for the iPhone or other Smartphones. They do offer coverage for computers. Other insurance companies said the same thing.

AppleCare+ is your best bet.
