Is anything I can do to make this site perform better?

Hi guys, with my android phone (Samsung Galaxy Nexus,running Android 4.2.1) I use a service/app to send sms through the PC/Mac called mightytext:

The service runs fine on my Windows PC's and ran fine on my previous Macbook (late 2009),although when sending sms through it's web app from the powermac

it crawls, I write one letter,only about one second or more it appears.
I've tried different browsers (safari,tenfourkit,tenfourfox,camino,demeter,etc) ones perform better than others but overall all have the same terrible performance.
Is any tweak that I can do to help this perform better?
Talked with the devs and they say it's made using javascript and html like most web apps.
I have the latest java installed (osx updates).
Any help?

But:
64-bit Intel only

Mac OS X 10.6 or later

Works much better than on browser version.
Will the apps created work on tiger?
This is very nice for facebook too!

tried the app created on 10.5 with fluid and it doesn't work in tiger, will try the other two.

It's not anything super hiper mega different in terms of performance, but it's worth the try,makes things a little better.
