Best option for template, free or pay

Hi,

Thinking of making a Brew site for us guys. Looking for options in the "template department". I have some experience with HTML and CSS, but its 5 years since I worked with it. Im looking for a template that:
  • I can customize
  • Has a front page for recent articles
  • has a hortizontal top meny
  • Every device compatible

Has anybody else been looking into this recently? Thanks!
