built in camera not working in safari but does in Chrome?

Hi All,

I would appreciate any help. My built in camera on my macbook pro running mountain lion has stopped working. On a webpage that uses the cam I see a box asking me to allow or deny access to the webcam but then I can't get a response by clicking on either box.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash and still won't work. I installed chrome and it does work!

please can anyone help?
