Do you think the iPhone 5s will be available with 32/64 and maybe 128 GB?

I have a 4s and am very happy with it and only use it for calls, music and the odd picture and video here and there and the 5 adds nothing I want and I highly doubt the 5s will add anything new either. In order for me to ever get a new phone - Apple simply must bump the space options or improve battery life. I don't care about processor, screen size or anything else.

By the way, night shots on a iPhone 5 are better compared to the 4S. But yeah there's not much difference.

What I think is Apple will release 5S in 32/64GB and drop the 16GB. However cheaper iPhone will have only one option, 16GB. This way they can differentiate 5S and cheaper iPhone, as well as make 5S´s higher price tag (=same as now) more acceptable in the eyes of consumers. It will also streamline manufacturing processes meaning better profit for Apple. I don´t see a relevant market for a 128GB model, especially when Apple wants to push customers to use iCloud services and therefore lock customers in to the Apple´s ecosystem.

I doubt they will increase the iPhone to 128gb, but I hope they do! That will make me upgrade for sure. When you have over 100 gb's of music alone, you need a bigger capacity iphone!

If they actually do release a lower cost iPhone it's storage may only be 16g. Which in turn may let them increase storage across the regular iPhone line and at the same time keep the margins the same. I'm thinking that while offering a lower cost iPhone they can keep the storage at 16g because of Margins you want more storage buy the 5s.

I doubt it will happen anytime soon. They want you to use iCloud, and starting with a 32 GB model would be against their interest, even if it's doable with a good profit margin.

Apple could make more money charging a premium on a 128GB phone AND iCloud as those whole can afford it will usually spend for iCloud.

Probably this will be the final line up about storage

Plastic new iPhone will be 8gb - 16gb for about 99$

iPhone 5 will keep 199$ but only in 16 gb version (just because of the materials)

iPhone 5S will have 32gb and 64gb version at 299$ and 399$ respectively....

im just following the storage they did for ipod touch... they made the 5th generation only 32gb and 64gb, later they added a "cheaper" version with 16gb...

I hope they make the prices bump down and instead of the 16 or 8GB, have the 32GB @ that price point, and make the 128GB at the 64GB price point and so on. I just find myself deleting stuff every day to make room on my 16GB ipad mini. A storage space shift is needed

128gb would make a lot of sense today.

My partner got a 16gb iPhone 5 from his company, he doesn't have many apps installed and not many photos either yet he's already running out of space.

I have a 64gb one, at first I thought I'd never run out of space but I was surprised to see that I only have less than 10gb now, and I didn't even put all my music there, but I do have a lot of photos and I play a lot of games. The game apps can range from 30mb to 500mb, but that's not including the saves and "other things" that apparently get generated from the apps.

Gameloft games are now normally over 1.5 GB and X-COM is over 3 GB.

No way that's going to happen. They may add a 128GB version but the base will stay at 16GB. They make way to much profit on memory upgrades to change it. Apple isn't giving up easy profit.

I thought a 16GB would be more than enough for me, but turns out I was wrong. I would definitely love to see a 32/64/128 setup but I doubt Apple would ditch the 16GB, seeing as it is their most selling size.

I would love it if they would offer the 32GB at the price they offer the 16GB now, like they did when they got rid of the 8GB. Maybe even offer the 16GB at a discounted price and the 32GB at the current 16GB price.
