Should I renew my insurance?

So I have an iPod touch 4g that I got from best buy 1.5 years ago. I got an email saying that my protection plan from them was going to expire. I'm hoping to be buying a smartphone soon so I'm trying to decide if I should renew it for 1 more year? It's only $35 but I don't know if its worth it. I haven't had my iPod replaced since the day I bought it. What do you think?

Is the smartphone going to replace the ipod? If so, I would say pocket the 35.00 or use it toward your phone purchase.

I wouldn't spend the money on it. Chances of a covered failure are pretty slim now.

That's what I thought and yes the smartphone will pretty much replace the iPod.

Lightbulb No lol

It's not worth it for a device that will just be outdated in a while. Just get an Otterbox or Griffin Survivor case to protect it.
