Are there any users here who pay for their email service?

I'm toying with the idea of switching to a for-pay mail provider which has not only tougher privacy stances, but also more reliability as I am using my mail for increasingly more important things.

No. It's not practical to pay for your email service unless you own a company

I use gmail and I have no desire to switch to anything else. I am perfectly comfortable with the security and features.

Why do you say that, its quite inexpensive and provides the person with a very personalized email address. What's not practical?

I have nothing of importance coming into my inbox other than tracking numbers and SPAM. I use Gmail primarily however I also use Outlook as well.

I don't see a point in paying for an email other than if you run a company. I use a gmail account and my university email with most important stuff going to the university one.
