OS X: Logitech F310 and Limbo on Steam

I recently purchased Limbo on Steam, and decided to finally pick up a gamepad for my Mac. I settled on the Logitech F310 because it was the cheapest.

I have to use Gamepad Companion to get it to work, but when I map one of the F310's buttons to 'option' (Limbo wants 'alt' to be the action key, but of course when I map it in Companion it comes up as 'option') I can't get it to work in-game.

Anyone else run into this? Is there a fix?
