Are there any video players that let you access SMB servers?

I have been using goodplayer for a while because of the awesome SMB access feature.

Being able to stream content on the hard drive or downloading right off the hard drive without having a PC in the middle is awesome!

However.... the video performance is ass! Anything higher than 480p and it stutters like crazy.

Are there any players that perform well that also give you acess to SMBs directly opposed to going through a PC?

Its possible that your performance issues are because of the codec that you are trying to play. I believe that third party apps do not have access to hardware decoding like the Apple apps have.
