Hi,

I'd like to know if it is possible to get to the guidelines (commission, restrictions, etc.) of using Mac/App Store as a publishing tool without paying the $99 for the developer's program.

Or if someone would be simply willing to provide a link or something.

Cheers,

Martin

I was actually going to blog it, because I could not find anything specific or more recent on the internet. But yeah, I will probably need to check them out for my own purposes sooner or later.:)

It's just so strange that even something like this is kept under the lid.

Best bet, would be to gather intel directly from the developers, I guess.:)

If anybody would be willing to help me out here, it would be very appreciated.:)

Cheers,

Martin

So, you're not going to contact Apple?

I did and found out that you can register for the program without paying the $99 fee, but still can't access the App Review Guidelines (which is something kept under the lid, firewood:eek:)

Anyway, in case anybody of you is also interested, you can search for Mac App Store Review Guidelines pdf and find several sources of the document. Just make sure it's not outdated.;)

Cheers,

Martin
