iOS 6.0.1 auto brightness

Is there an issue with auto brightness with 6.0.1? It doesn't seem to be working on my phone the right way.

There's a lot of variables that effect auto brightness. I keep the settings icon on my dock & adjust mine manually. Its so fast & easy to do, plus I get excellent battery life using that method.

Mine stopped working on my iPhone 5 after the 6.0.1 update as well.

I "reset all settings" and it started working again. I haven't had a problem with it since then.

I've tried all of these suggestions and nothing seems to help on my iPhone 5. I guess right now I'll just have to manually adjust my brightness.
