The new Plex App for iOS and Android is killer. Especially with ChromeCast / Roku support. They've completely redone the "remote" portion of the app for full control over those devices. Including timeline scrubbing. (Last version was literally just a remote with 4 way buttons.

switching to Plex + chromecast (or roku type device) is easily the best home media automation system I have ever used.

If only Chromecast would work with just a local network without Internet access
