Quick Question Speck case for MacBook Air

But I just wondered - it says Macbook Air "2nd gen.", is there any physical difference and would it work for the current model?

I think it will be fine, look at the customer pictures, the box says "fits June 2012 model"

Does anyone know if this case will interfere with putting the computer in a docking station later on? Specifically the Henge Dock.

I mean I don't want to buy it just for half a year or so and find out I can't use my desktop setup with it on, but I'm also concerned about the surface getting scratched and whatnot. Is there really no one who has any idea?
