Good place to sell gear online

Hello all,

I'm selling some extra gear and I want to stay away from eBay and Craigslist. Is there a good site to sell some of this stuff?

Thanks.

Another vote for FredMiranda. A very knowledgeable and dedicated user base.

If it's Nikon gear, NikonCafe is another good option where I have sold a bunch of stuff.

At both sites, you will need to deal with membership requirements.

Generally, I tend to gravitate toward the community sites/forums for my gear. So, if I want to sell my micro four thirds gear, I'd start by putting it up for sell on the mu-43.com forum. Good communities out there, be a part of them!

Thanks for the advice from others. I just don't want to deal with eBay or Craigslist.

Ask your friends or family. keh.com is a good place but you would probably get more if you sell direct to a person (vs company).

Nikonians.org has a section for selling. Just like fredmiranda, you need to be a member.

If it's Canon or related gear, the Canon fan site, Photography-On-The-Net (POTN) has an excellent sales forum. I use it often.
However, I believe there are restrictions on new members selling stuff; there may be a waiting period.
