i wish to have the aluminum silver color on my black iPhone not the white one...anyone here thinks the same?

Probably towards the end of my contract, I'm gonna sandpaper everything. I feel like the slate color doesn't contrast well enough against the black.

Would much prefer that...don't see how it's awful, the iPad is the same way and I prefer the black one of it as well. I was really hoping the iPhone 5 would have the same type of back/body as the iPad or Macbook Air. Oh well.

It looks like the original iPhone which, IMO, is the best looking iPhone to date.

It could've even been a "tribute" to the original design Steve signed off on.

I think it looks pretty cool, like the original iPhone. Currently, the contrast between the aluminum and the snow white looks really off in most angles. It's a shame because the rest of the white iPhone 5 looks really good.

i'm kinda disappointed Apple is shoving the whole black/slate color up our throats with the iPhone 5 and now the iPad mini....makes me wonder if they are gonna add the slate and black to the Mac notebooks..

While I think that looks nice, I never really thought about it until you brought it up. It would be nice to have more color options, but overall it isn't very important to me.

I wish it was just glass -- much like the iPhone 4/iPhone 4S.

With that being said, if Apple were to ever add an additional color to their iPhone lineup, I could definitely see it being silver.
