Invertebrates, the books say that they are animals...they require food, light heat etc. are capable of reproduction in various ways, and add a lot of color to a tank. Easy they are not, as they require specific parameters and certain fish will eat them too.

You have to research everything you put in....he spends a great deal of time and money on the tank.

I would start with a 20 gallon. Anything smaller and its harder to maintain water quality. Get the biggest tank you have space for/can afford. If I had the room I would get a 55+, sadly the biggest I can fit is a 28.
