iPhone not able to take calls at times

I am not able to take calls at times. It's iPhone 4. Any idea or suggestions regarding what is the problem ?

Check the signal strength and if it continues, contact apple.

OP, I updated your title to make it more descriptive - having just iPhone may not draw the people into the thread to help you as you intended.

Thanks for the advice. I think I would need to call apple. Sorry for the less informative Description.
