I use metal washer. Shop owner tell me it aluminium.

That one is same as i use.

Just lost ECC memory support, beside that it complete with xeon w3670.

OS X System profiler also show as 6-core intel xeon. Not core i7.

I briefly put a i5 (or maybe i7?) 2.8Ghz in my 2009 during my recent X5680 debacle.

It booted up just fine.

And System Profiler called it a Xeon.

I think it i7 cause no i5 in 1366 line-up.
