Good USB wireless mouse?

Can anyone recommend a good USB (non-bluetooth) wireless mouse?

I have an HTPC setup and find the bluetooth accuracy to be lacking.

I need something that will fit with a stylish livingroom and Magic Keyboard (which works fine due to requiring less precision).

Logitech MX Pro. Never had a problem with accuracy.

I have this, and *love* it.

I was just in another thread somewhere, talking about the magic mouse being able to swipe left and right on a timeline in Premiere, and realised I do the same with the scroll wheel on this mouse, hence not missing that feature on the magic mouse.

You can find good Bluetooth mice. They are just rare. The last one Logitech made that had great tracking was the MX Revolution (not the MX Revolution sold by itself, but the one bundled with the MX5500 set).

Anyway any of the MX or G series mouse have great tracking. The M705 is also pretty good.

The issue with bluetooth and an HTPC is range. I bought an industrial bluetooth receiver which I had to import from europe at great expense, it's the size of cup of coffee, and I still can't use my magic mouse or magic trackpad from my couch without running into constant small glitches (with the standard bluetooth receiver it was a nightmare).

I use my HTPC + Big Screen to edit video professionally in my livingroom (this is the best way to do it IMO) so there can't be glitches every 3-5 seconds or I won't get any work done.

It definetly needs to be RF.

I would say the best way to do that would be using a couple of 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 screens, instead of a screen with a 1920x1080 resolution.

I LOVE love love the Performance Mouse MX, though the previous generation fit my hand a little better. I will try the G700 Gaming Mouse next, possibly a better fit.

My only other issue is most Logitech mice don't do bluetooth. But that is not your issue.

Get a wired mouse.

I use the Logitech G500 wired and SteerMouse and it's a beautiful combo.

The mouse is a bit tacky though, but I don't care, it's probably the most accurate mouse I've ever used.

Note that it has internal memory and you need to change the polling to 333DPI on a Windows machine, save it and then you're good to go.
