I will admit, in a gesture of balance and fairness, that my use of the word "naive" was uncalled for, and I retract and apologize for it.

I think that some of the things I have countered with have also been uncalled for, I too apologise and will delete my post above.

Apple has always been a company more about iteration. I am sure that the next WOW will come soon, but a lot of time passes in between. People are so quick to jump on a different bandwagon that they sometimes forget whats important, functionality. No one does this better than Apple.

People jump ship in the short term, but they always come back. I have a friend in Canada, that upgraded his iPhone 4 to a Note 2, he loves his new device, but at the same time he is just waiting for Apple to drop another gem on him. He says I know i will be back.
