DVD Burning Software

Ive been using Toast 11 to burn dvds, it takes a good chunk of the day to encode about 2 hours of footage. I have a mbpr 2.7 16gig. Are there settings I can adjust for faster encoding? Or can you guys recommend better burning software?

Try giving iDVD a try. I've found it works quickly on my old Blackbook.

Its part of the OS. You should already have it installed.

It's a part of iLife, the boxed set. Any version from 2008 onward has the latest current version. Apple hasn't paid much attention to it in the past few years and because of that it isn't in the App Store.

It'll install and run on Mountain Lion if you install it with Pacifist.

If you can get iDVD to work that that's what I would suggest. But here is a list of alternate DVD creating/burning apps that are still being updated: http://mac-dvd-burning-software.burnworld.com
