I own MBA 2011 13" i7 1.8Ghz with 256Gb SSD (APPLE SSD SM256C)
We all know that motherboard has SATA 3 controller but negotiation link speed only 3Gb/sec. I honestly think that this is related only to SSD firmware and we all know that this is Samsung SSD. Anybody was able to find the same SSD and update firmware to enable SATA 3 negotiation link? I'm pretty sure that negotiation link speed limited by Apple. Maybe somebody figure out how to updated Samsung SSD firmware or found analog of SSD from Samsung to enable SATA 3 on the SSD. Thanks.
