Safari Version 5.1.9
Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Alright, so here's the rundown. A while back I was messing around with some themes on Themepark. After some time, I reverted back to the traditional Aqua interface. However, despite doing so, Safari and Finder had some sort of darker, slightly translucent, grey colour palette interface they shouldn't have, with funny horizontal lines around buttons. Today I decided to reinstall Snow Leopard to see if I could resolve some of these interface issues. And it worked for Finder and other system apps, but not for Safari.
When I reinstalled Snow Leopard, Safari 4.0.something was installed. I emptied all the cache and Library info I could find and did a fresh download of 5.1.9, but the funny UI was still there!
Some Screenshots:
A darker grey than it's supposed to be: http://i.imgur.com/cOcgBak.jpg
Here is a picture of funny lines. Notice the white squares in the corners: http://i.imgur.com/yn4hakl.png
Another example of funny lines. It especially bothers me here: http://i.imgur.com/YhhRQ88.png
I'm not precisely sure what the exact problem is. Any help and/or remedies would be appreciated. Thank you!
