So my iPod Classic came in the mail yesterday, hooked it up to my laptop and was syncing my music just fine. About halfway through, an error pops up and tells me the iPod is corrupt and that I need to restore.
I have tried to restore through iTunes: error busy/1140.
I have tried to reset the iPod manually: iPod functions but shows full HDD.
I have tried to reformat in Disk Utility: error.
I have tried to reformat in disk mode in Disk Utility: error.
Tried different USB ports and different cables... Not sure what else I can do at this point and am open to suggestions. I've looked at several threads on apple.support and other sites with no luck.
Using:
~ iPod Classic 160 (7th Gen)
~ MacBook Pro (10.8.2)
~ iTunes 11.0.1
