Mac App Store shows all my apps have been installed when they haven't
I just re-formatted my Mac to Mountain Lion, and I'm trying to re-download my purchased apps from the Mac App Store. Problem is, however, that with the exception of about 7 apps, every other app shows that it has been installed, when I am accessing the app store almost right after formatting. I've tried logging out and logging back in, but to no effect. Has anyone else seen this before?

Do you have an external disk attached which has those apps on it? The App store App will find installed Applications on all disks.

Well that explains that. I had backed up most of my purchased apps to an external hard drive. Thanks for that.
