I still treat my rMBP with the same care as when I first got it in June!

No complaints at all, it will hopefully last for several years

Despite the fact I had to go through 5 swaps to get a unit with a Samsung panel and one free of defects, I can say this is the best computer I've ever owned.

The display is stunning, the graphics card is powerful, and the size and weight is just right.

I plan on keeping this one a long, long time.

More power to you. ^^^These are my favorite reasons. VM's on SSD's are very nice. Going back to even a 10,000RPM Raptor is painful. I have about 40GB of VM's. XP/7/Linux. I feel your needs.

I've been enjoying mine. I just hope I don't run into the image retention issue as I have a samsung display.
