Airplay to XBMC-No Sound

So I run XBMC on my 2012 iMac and Airplay to my TV.

Ive messed with all settings on the XBMC stream, the sound on the mac, the airplay and I cant get the sound to work on the TV and not the mac.

Ive tried restarting both.

Anyone ever have an issue where you get the sound from the mac and not on the TV speakers?

Any help would be appreciated,thanks!

I had this problem before, not with XBMC but with VLC......what I did was go to audio and going to "Audio Device" and switching that from the internal speakers to "Airplay"

Not sure if thats the same on every media player though.

Yea Ive tried the output to the Airplay but it still doesnt seem to come through the speakers right.

I need to google more I guess as based on the lack of responses it may be a weird occurrence.
