Hello,

i sent my app to review, after 7 days they rejected my app.
Reason:
We found that your app contains content or features that are included mainly to upset or disgust users. As such, it is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines

Reason is probably because in app after you failed it says: "Dont do that like a jerk"

Is that a reason to reject my app? Do i have reason to appeal against that?

Why not just change the text and re-submit it? They are unlikely to overturn the original decision based on the reply you posted.

I dont know is that a real reason. Maybe it's something other?
Can that sentence really be a reason for reject?

Their expl. is very bad, i sent them a message, when i can expect reply?

And after re-subminting how long they need to review it again?

This app sounds like a bad idea already.

They can reject an app for any reason afaik.

Yeah, this has always been frowned upon. I think Apple actually took note of the apps that were getting bad reviews due to phrases like this and decided to make it mandatory, because there were a few developers in the past who got criticized for it too. Your app can have crude humor in it, but you can't use it against the user directly.

Can someone propose me replacement for "Jerk" ?

Looking into a thesaurus (http://thesaurus.com/browse/jerk) :

Definition: stupid person
Synonyms: blockhead, dolt, donkey, dope, dunce, fool, idiot, imbecile, jackass, jerk*, nitwit, numbskull, simpleton*, twit

don't looks good for the next review/approval

If you could tell us more about your app and in what context the message is used it would be helpful to suggest something different.

Based on the rejection reason it doesn't appear difficult to ascertain the value of such app.

So please than post some of your great apps, or you dont have it?

Christian @ i will talk with my writer to help me about that. Thanks anyway ;)

Edit: Can maybe this sentence go:

"Dont do that like a perv" ?

Imagine that someone is doing something explicite, what to say to him?

How about not insulting your user and just saying something like "Try again"? Or explaining to the user what "That" is so they know what they're doing wrong.

If the text is part of a storyline between interactive characters, then yes, I can see how
the line might be appropriate, in the context of the story.

However, if the text is from a response from the app itself to the user, then I would say the text
is very inappropriate and should be changed. And we don't mean trading one insult for another.

In any case, you need to explain yourself better.
