Estimation iPod classic 3rd generation NEW
Hello everybody,
I have a iPod classic 3rd generation 20GB new in plastic wrap. The packaging is in perfect condition. I really don't know the value of this object. Have you got an idea? Thank you very much.

You've got a little while longer to go before this hits high-price retro status.

I'm actually just curious to know how much this would go for at the moment..

Based on iPods that actually sold on eBay, I would of thought £500+?

I'd say more in the range of $100 give or take, it's not particularly the first generation so it wouldn't fetch the premium.

I'm going by UK prices here, maybe a little different in the US. An open box 20GB 4th Gen went for about £350 a few months ago, and sealed 30GB 5th Gens are selling at £150+ consistently
But its all dependant on how much the buyer wants to pay I guess |

Ok, now I know you want an estimate, but its really worth what someone is willing to pay! If two wealthy collectors want the same thing, you could get lucky and get 500-1000$, possibly even more
![]() Is it worth it? I don't know! If nobody wants it, then its worthless, you see my point? ---------- Quote:

It is worth as much as people are willing to pay
![]() What's even worse at $9k is that eBay / PayPal fees are going to be nuts (although I doubt it'll sell anyway) |

Why not just list it for say $500.00 instead of the 9k you have now and see if someone's buys it? And then put up for auction if it does not sell.. I bet you could get one person to buy.. Also $500 would be a great profit on that.
