I would like to power my Macbook Air 11" via solar power when outdoors and travellling. Has any of you guys experience with that?
I thought the "Sherpa 50 Kit" (includes solar panel and battery) from Goalzero (see http://www.goalzero.com/sherpa50.html) could do it, but I am not sure. The output from the battery is 19V and I think the Mabook Air requires 16V. Moreover, I do not know if and which additional adapters I would have to use?
There are plenty of other solutions, of course. Most notably various solar panels from "Brunton" (for example http://store.bruntonoutdoor.com/portable-power/foldable-solar-panels/solaris-26-12v/) and the the "powergorilla" battery from powertraveller (https://powertraveller.com/iwantsome/primatepower/powergorilla/). But I have not figured out how it would all fit together yet.
Thus, if you have found a solution that works for you I would be most interested to hear. Thanks a lot!
