Google discontinues free Google Apps product for businesses and individuals

Now if you have your own domain and want to tie it into Google's services it'll be $50 a year per user.

If you're going to post on the news then be accurate about it please. Change your thread title to something that actually represents what Google is doing.

Google Apps no longer free for new business accounts

I'm just saying you should use the accurate title. Silly for me to assume that one "reporting" news would want to do that.

I echo this statement. To post false & misleading info reflects poorly on you, misleads others, and wastes our time.

Take responsibility or don't post.

What exactly about it was false or misleading?

Yesterday Google had a free Google Apps product for businesses and individuals looking to use Google services for their domain.

Today they do not.

But you made it sound like no one could get them free any longer. Follow the rules and title your threads correctly. Might also help to quote a part of the article.

They can't (unless you're a government or educational institution).

The free service has not been discontinued, hence misleading thread title.
