Any text editors on Imac that allow to open many files and then click on a tab to access the particular text files?

BBEdit can do this. I use BBEdit to write EPS files. I also use it to write C++ codes and LaTeX files sometimes.

I am still looking for a FREEWARE Multi-Tab Text Editor to help me load a few text files I regularly need to have open and quickly and easily switch between.
Any ideas? |

TextWrangler maybe? It's like a junior version of BBEdit. I think it's free.
