I got this Powerbook G4, could I take a intel macbook pro motherboard (older model that used the same case) and put it in, and have it work?/fit

No, the cases are different sizes due to the PB having a 15.2" screen and the MBP a 15.4". And I'm sure the internals laid out differently.

But, you can install a MBP screen to gain a higher resolution, but it will hang over the edges a tad as it is a larger display lid. But it connects and closes with no issues.

There is a thread here somewhere over the topic but I cannot seem to locate it.
