These prices for Apple I boards are driving me nuts. Because...
In 1978 and 79 I was working in the first Computerland store in Sydney Australia, as a service tech. I'd bought an S100 system, then wanted to get an Apple. The Apple I had been out a while, and I had a choice of buying it or waiting for the Apple II we'd heard was coming out soon. Hard choice. In the end I waited. Got the 2nd Apple II into Australia via that store, which was the first to import any so far as we knew.
Now I never throw stuff out. I still have my very first micro board, a hand assembled Signetics 2650 board. If I'd bought an Apple I I'd still have that now too.
Bah.
