Shattered iPhone 5 screen with speck candyshell case.

Definitely not a gripe thread but I'm wondering how many of you guys had your screen shatter after a minuscule drop with this case?

I'm headed back to LA to see what I can do about getting a replacement screen/phone as we speak.

Does anyone have any experience with the OtterBox and cracked screens?

(This whole thing is definitely my fault, just want to make sure I buy a case that actually protects the phone, not just makes me feel better)

EDIT: I neglected to mention it's an iPhone 5 32GB Black

Get an otterbox defender, there is a screen protector and it recesses the screen a little so it's much harder to break. However if it hits at an angle there is a chance it might break.
