New Replacement Name for Podcast - Beam
Hey all - everybody loves podcasts, but not the name. Have you read the recent article about podcasts? http://www.current.org/2013/03/the-n...-here-to-stay/
So, what do you think about renaming podcasts to "Beams"? You stream parts of audio and video, but you beam the whole episode. BEAM. Boom. Thoughts? |

I'm not sure who determined that not everyone likes the name "podcast", 'cuz they didn't ask me. It's not that big of a deal. Seriously.... |

Yeah... I'd rather stick with podcast over beam. One is clearly defined, the other already has a definition and means something entirely different.
