Mac for general purpose and gaming

Just get a lower end model and buy the new Xbox when it comes out the back end of next year (and as suggested elsewhere a current Xbox now if you want)- The new Xbox's power will blow away the high end 27 inch imac for gaming and it will likely set you back around £300/ $500 and last for years.
