Photoshop Help

My brother-in-law wants to frame this picture of him, his dad and his son (my nephew), but would like to get rid of the background people. It will be a Christmas present for his Dad. I tried, but failed miserably. Also, this photo was taken with an iPhone so it's not excellent, but it would be great if the dimensions and quality are kept so it can be printed at 8x10. Cropping the picture so that more of them are in frame would be preferable as well. Thanks.

This is the full image size (I don't know why it's sideways).

Glad you like it. Yup the guy on the right is difficult to replace. Lot of work need and not a great deal of info to clone/heal from.
suppose I could have got rid of the camera strap, maybe you could give that a try.
