Can you "select all" when deleting email?

I set up my wife's new i5 that she got today. She has an email through Yahoo! That has a lot of junk and old emails. Is there a way to select all so I don't have to individually delete each one? I couldn't figure it out. Thanks

There is not a select all option the best you can do is tap edit in the upper right then the circle on the left of each message then select delete.

Maybe try with the Yahoo! Mail app? Not sure if you can though, I don't have it installed.

No, not yet. Trust me, this is an option I've wanted for so long.

I stand corrected. The YouTube video shows how to do it in older version of iOS but it is explains how to so it in the comments for iOS 6.
