Use tv as second screen with rMBP?
Hi,
Is there a way to use a hdtv as a second screen? i have a 10' hdmi cable and would like to use it to plug my rMBP into the tv. I just want it so i can have watch a movie or stream netflix to the tv while using the actually MBP screen for other stuff. Is there any way to do this? im open to other ideas if this idea isnt possible. Thanks. |

Can be done. Plug in secondary display via HDMI.
Then do extended display (instead of mirroring). Open up netflix, drag that window into your other display and you can continue to use your actual display for other things.
