Alright so I have a friend that lives in an area that doesn't really get great cell reception so she's got tracfone, which isn't the best for texting. So I was thinking of getting her something that can just access google voice, or even facebook messenger, so she when she plans on having full conversations she can do so without blowing a ton of minutes.
I was thinking either an old android phone that doesn't have service anymore or an old iPod Touch, any opinion on which might be a better plan? I'm obviously looking for the least expensive option, something that could be used with satellite internet which everyone knows is sketchy at best...
