I have an ATV2.
My TV isn't Full HD, it just plays 720p.

If I buy a 1080p movie in iTunes, will it play good (720p) in my TV? Or I should buy a 720p version in iTunes?

Thanks!

The Apple TV will scale-down the movie to fit your TV. But if your TV is 720p you're not gaining anything by purchasing the 1080p version, unless it's future-proofing if you buy a bigger TV in future.

Yes, buying 1080p would be thinking in the future (new TV, ATV3...).

But for now I am worried if 1080p would show any problem in my TV/ATV2 (720p). Or if it would fit the same like I purchase 720p.
