Any one else have this Mail application problem?

I use gmail, hotmail, and yahoo all via the Mail app. My gmail and yahoo account are in perfect sync with mail app.

However, when I delete something from my hotmail account using the Mail app, those emails still remain as new on the actual hotmail website. I am guessing this is a settings/sync related issue. Any idea what I need to change so that the changes I make in the mail app reflect on my hotmail account?

Thanks.

I'm guessing that your Hotmail account is a POP3 account. As such, it cannot sync.

That feature must be made available by Microsoft. It has chosen not to do so. So, "No," you can't change the protocol to IMAP.

Switch to Gmail, Yahoo!, or some other email provider that supports IMAP.
