built-in pop-up Dictionary search History?

Hey!

As the title says, I'm looking for a way to save the words that i look up in the built in dictionary on my mac. The dictionary software is really good, it's so quick and easy to look up new words that you don't understand when you're browsing the internet, reading articles or books. Whatever. Im working as an English teacher in Cambodia, (I'm Swedish), and i feel that i need to extend my vocabulary a bit further.

When i use the built-in voc. on my mac, I get the explanation, but I would like a way to save what I have searched for. Search history. The most convenient would be a software that saves both the searched word and also the explanation. Now I'm just looking up words, reading the explanation, and then forgetting what it was all about ten seconds later.

Anyone know a software that does this or something similar. (Tried goggling but I found out its kinda difficult to search for something this specific)

Thanks for all your contribution.

Cheers,

August
