Zoran, Sim is correct . I'm in the same situation, I just purchased 16Gb (Total of 20Gb) of the memory sticks mentioned from OWC, due to arrive tomorrow. I will post the results. They (OWC) claims it will work w/o any problems and I can max it at 32Gb.

Sorry... I had posted something from a different thread lol.

I bought the Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB CL10 RAM from amazon.

The only problem with that is that it isn't going to match the stock ram properly. When mixed with the stock ram, the entire ram pool will be clocked at 1333 instead of the 1600.

I'm going to remove the stock RAM, and eventually add another pair of what I just bought.

Here's a link for ya:

I misunderstood his post then. It sounded like he was looking at eight 16GB kits. Those are the only two 16GB kits that are 204 pinned.

Guess we'll see when he replies.

Reading posts in Crucials forums and seeing a couple of iMac users (late 2012 27") addressing compatibility issues with the already installed Apple memory makes me wonder if i should do this purchase... what do you think guys? :(
