Well if you dont want to go SSD+External, this IS the way to go. you can sometimes snag a 400-500GB SSD for less than $400.

Several threads on this already, just do a search. They have their proponents and detractors. I'm pro as I have 2 of them and they just make an enormous difference in speed/snappiness versus stock. Still, when 512GB SSDs drops to $150-200 area, the MoXT is toast.

Thanks but I need more storage than that. Only have 140 gb left and its only going to keep shrinking. So why buy something that will fill up in a few months. Going to have this computer for a while

If you're using THAT much storage, why not have a NAS that will provide some redundancy and awesome features.
