Can windows users restore split files?
Are windows users able restore split files? (ie. larger files split into parts with the 'split' command in terminal)
Or is it necessary to prepare them with one of their proprietary formats like rar? I'm planning on sending a 23GB file in parts but one of the recipients may only have windows. |

You can try Split and Concat, but that would require the Windows user to install the Windows version on their system. Not the prettiest of apps but it gets the job done!

Another alternative is Keka:
http://www.kekaosx.com/en/ It would allow you to compress to ZIP so that the user should be able to handle the archive natively under Windows. It also allows you to choose what size "chunks" you would like to make
